La WWE ha annunciato che l'Hall of Famer Kurt Angle sostituirà Roman Reigns nel 3-on-5 Handicap TLC match. Angle sarà dunque su un ring WWE per la prima volta dopo 11 anni in team con Rollins ed Ambrose contro Cesaro, Sheamus, Kane, Braun Strowman e The Miz.
Inoltre, AJ Styles prenderà il posto di Bray Wyatt nel match contro Finn Bálor. La WWE fa sapere che sia Reigns che Wyatt non saranno presenti al PPV per problemi di salute.
